Because our services are so customized and personalized, Custom Adventures charges a fee for various levels of service. We feel confident that you will find the benefits of using Custom Adventures well worth the cost.

We charge separately for the planning and the booking of your vacation. This gives you the option of using our expertise for a detailed itinerary and extensive recommendations, but the flexibility to book and arrange the details of your trip on your own. Alternatively, if you would rather let Custom Adventures take care of the details of making your bookings (outfitter, hotels, air, etc.) we can do this as well.

Vacation Planning

Our fee for planning your vacation includes the following:

• Dedicated, and highly personalized one on one service to understand your needs, desires, and preferences
• Thorough research of all outfitter or independent options for the trip of your choice
• Honest, unbiased recommendations
• Hours of our time, not minutes
• A full trip dossier, including itinerary, descriptions of places to be visited, recommendations, packing list, health concerns, photography options, gear recommendations, and more previous to your departure

The fee will depend on the number of people in your trip as well as the length of the trip. Prices shown are per person:

For trips of greater than 8 people or durations longer than 4 weeks, we'll determine a flat fee for your trip.

We request 50% of the fee at the beginning of the planning stage, and the remainder after your trip has been completely planned.

Vacation Booking

For a small fee, Custom Adventures can also book all or some aspects of your trip for you. After the planning stage, you can decide whether you want to take advantage of this offering or not. Our fee for doing so depends on the type and number of bookings that are necessary for your trip. We can provide an estimate of this fee at the time of planning, and tell you what the actual cost will be at the end of the planning stage, so you can decide how to proceed. If you choose to use us to book your vacation, we will:

• Make any and/or all bookings on your behalf for operators, tours, hotel, air, rental car, etc.
• If using an outfitter, conduct all correspondence with that outfitter in order to answer your questions or provide details about your trip*
• Make any necessary changes to your bookings
• Re-confirm your bookings prior to your departure

We request 50% of the booking fee prior to making your requested bookings, and the remainder after those bookings have been made and finalized.

* Most outfitters will require you to sign waivers, travel profiles, and health documents for their trips. These documents will be sent to you directly from the outfitter, and Custom Adventures will not become involved beyond verifying your receipt of these documents and reminding you to fill them out and return them.
