Custom Adventures focuses on creating customized adventure style vacations for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Adventure Travel, for our purposes, can be defined as trips outside the ordinary, but do not have to involve physical or political risks. "Ordinary" is relative to the individual…and that's what we concentrate on - the individual travel needs of our customer. We use our extensive travel experience, knowledge, and research capabilities to tailor itineraries for where you want to go, what you want to see, what you want to do, and how you want to travel -- be it on a luxury tour, an independent camping trip, or somewhere in between. If you're not sure, we can help you decide. And we create these trips to fit your budget.

Objective information
At Custom Adventures, we do not provide any of our own tours, nor do we require any commissions from outfitters to recommend or book with their companies. We associate with companies that we have had positive experiences with, that we have received positive referrals for, and which have trips that match your specific needs. Your trip may not even require an outfitter. We do all the research necessary to ensure that you are presented with a multitude of options that fit your needs, so you can make informed decisions about how you want to travel. We use our own travel experience, the Internet, travel books/publications and referrals to explore all the options available to you and to give you our honest unbiased recommendations.

Everything you need to be ready for your trip
We do more than just create itineraries and make bookings for you. We'll also provide you with reading recommendations, packing lists, visa and immunization information, and advice about gear and photography. We want to make sure you feel well prepared for your trip.

Because the Custom Adventures model is not based on commissions or selling our own tours, we charge a fee for our services. We feel confident that you will find the benefits of using Custom Adventures well worth the cost.
